Ordered the combo plate for lunch today and it was very tasty. Meat portion was on the smaller side, but it was served with salad and hummus. Next time I will order double meat.
The food is very good. I love getting the gyro wrap. It's all very well seasoned and fresh. My husband and I come here all the time and always introduce out-of-town friends to it when they visit. It's a hit every time. Great service. The people are kind and the food is prepared pretty quickly. Love this place! Great food truck to try out!
I came to the Hive to study for an upcoming exam. This is my second time doing this and I ordered food from Austin's Habibi both times. I think the food is really delicious! The same guy took my order both times, was very friendly, and gave me a helpful recommendation the first time I ordered. I got the Combo wrap with fries. It was $12.99 before tip. It's not a bad price for how much food usually costs in Austin. Quality ingredients. I truly don't understand the bad reviews, some are from a year ago so maybe they improved things since then. P.S. I know the photos don't make it too appetizing but I promise it is! Haha
Cute lil food truck off 5th and Bowie in downtown Austin right next to the Tiniest Bar in Texas. There is lots of space and another Mexican food truck in there. Tables, chairs, picnic tables, misters and a outdoor stage area. The service was friendly and fast. The wraps come with a plethora of fries drizzled with their white sauce and spicy red sauce. The wraps are loaded with meat and quite hardy. Their salads are also very generous with plenty of meat and a small side of hummus. The chicken was seasoned well and very flavorful. You won't leave hungry for sure.
The food was delicious, it tasted fresh and it was a great price point. We got the chicken hummus platter and the fries. The service was quick as expected for a food truck. There are not a lot of seating options so it's ideal for takeout.
Oops checked into the wrong place yesterday. This gets the atta boy. The Lady had a huge guyo whileI had the plate! I can highly recommend either at least as far as the lamb goes. Service was fast and the food was well party. Good work folks!
